How does Facebook fit into your financial advisor marketing plan? Facebook has been referred to as "Referrals on steroids". Facebook works for businesses by offering followers short informative posts
in the form of tips and hints - but NOT advertising. It is a marketing fact
that you need to tell clients something, then tell them again, then again… repetition
is a key in any promotional activity.
Facebook should ideally be loaded daily, as it’s only the posts on the screen at the time of log in that are really noticed. Not everyone scrolls to older posts. However daily is a huge ask, so twice a week is a good compromise of having clients see you and being able to consistently come up with good posts. But even then, how do you come up with two meaningful, interesting, attention grabbing posts 100 A YEAR!?!
